Six months ago, I knew nothing about fragrances beyond the typical store-bought bottles on my shelf. But I set out on a journey to not only learn everything I could about perfumery but to also create my own signature scent, all from the confines of my bedroom . I started with research, diving into the depths of top, middle, and base notes, the history of perfumery and the science behind blending aromas. I documented every step through TikTok, from my first hesitant attempts at mixing essential oils to understanding how different ingredients interact over time. through trial and error, late night experiments, a ever-growing collection of scent strips, I refined my skills, keeping detailed notes on what worked and what didn’t. the process became an obsession, a creative outlet, and eventually something I could truly call my own. By the end of these 6 months, my bedroom  has turned into a miniature lab, filled with vials, pipettes, and carefully curated blends-proof that passion, patience and persistence, even the most complex art can be self taught.
